I am from western Serbia, Sabac is on the right bank of river Sava.

I got two of these from a friend the other day - I guess they are from a CD version?

yes, right. they were installed in the facelift-version of the typ43, they belong to the rear doors of a "CD-version".

I was surprised myself by the number of Typ 43's I have stumbled upon. However, majority of parts cars are pre-facelift versions.

A 1977 Sunbeam 1300, one previous owner, 76.700 km, very good condition. The idea is to drive it until spring, in order to preserve the Audi, while offering it for sale/trade to oldtimer enthusiasts, since its a waste to drive a car in a condition this good on a daily basis.

There was a misfortunate event with my Audi - someone tried to steal it. Who needs a 30 year-old car and why - I have no idea. They failed to start the engine since i had done some rewiring just in case (i did it despite the fact that even I had thought that is was absolutely unnessesary, but now I'm glad I did), however they broke the ignition lock and bent the steering column in process.

Does somebody know is it possible to change only the upper part of the steering column, or it has to be repaced completely? If that's the case, can it be done without needing to go under the car, since the parts donor I have in mind is sitting in a field with no wheels.
