If you're refering to the stripe on the windshield, it's a reflection. The windshield will be removed prior to the painting.
New ride is a 1980 GL 5S automatic with 95.000 km. Don't know what I'm going to do with it, the time for getting another car couldn't have been worse, but I would regret it forever if i passed on it.
How much ATF oil does the gearbox take? I want to replace all fluids, since the car has been sitting for a while. I know that my old Mercedes took about 7 or 8 litres.

The automatic gearbox takes a total of approximately 5,5 litres of ATF. But at an oil change only 2,5 to 3 litres can be changed. The rest stays in the torque converter and in little oil channels.
And please don´t forget to change the oil in the differential!

Finding an ATF filter for the automatic gearbox has proven to be quite a challenging task I finally managed to locate a shop that carries those parts, and they asked me if the ATF filter is round on square?
While I'm waiting for a friend who's a proffesional photographer to take nice looking ones, here are some pictures of the final result:

I have finally changed the fluids and filters in the 5S and took it for a spin. It goes like a bat out of hell compared to my 5 with semi-working Keihin and LPG, but feels kind of weird since the RPMs at highway speeds are way higher than with a 4+E transmission.
Also, I got around to fiddling with the electrics in the red one.
Got it all sorted out nicely, fixed some vent problems I was having, and while I was at it, I decided to put in a green dashboard in very good shape that's been sitting in my attic for at least 3 years. While I was up there, I also looked for the green A-pillar trim I knew I had, as well as the central console. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that for the past three years, I had an original radio:
I've roamed classifieds ever since I bought the 5S in order to find one (right now there is a hideous First CD-player in it), and it turns out I've had it all along.
